Description Edward C. Anderson's saber with scabbard. British Pattern 1822 cavalry officer's saber, bird's head hilt variety. Sharkskin grip, iron hilt, and decorative etchings on the blade with the initials CA as well as the brand "Royal Artillery" on the obverse with a brass disc at the riches with the word "proved," and on the reverse at the ricasso "S. Isaac, Campbell Co., 71 Jermyn St., London"
