The series consist of correspondence, bills, genealogical materials, personal a business accounts, and other personal papers. The genealogy series includes a Bible belonging to Mrs. Thomas Spalding (Sarah Leake Spalding); and Thomas Spalding's Bible, containing records of births, deaths, and marriages.
Not included in the series, but in the collection is the marriage settlement of James Spalding and Margery McIntosh, 1772.
